Kathmandu, May 16: Nepali Congress's Rajuraj Joshi is leading the vote counting for mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City with 356 votes.
CPN-UML's contender Bidya Sundar Shakya is following Joshi in the competition with 298 votes while Bibeksheel's Ranju Darshana is in the third position with 148 votes.
Likewise, Sajha Party's Kishor Thapa is in the race with 198 votes followed by CPN (Maoist Center)'s Sarbottam Dangol with 19 votes.
Likewise, for deputy mayor, NC's Hari Prabha Khagdi is leading the race with 429 votes followed by Rastriya Prajatantra Party's Raja Ram Shrestha with 219 and CPN (Maoist Center)'s Sushila Poudel with 21 votes respectively.
