Kathmandu, June 19: Stakeholders have emphasized on the need to develop media in Shankarapur that carries social, historical and religious significance.
Speaking at a programme organised in Sankhu to mark the 7th anniversary of 'Labanya Sandesh' weekly today, speakers stressed on the development of media sector for the development of Shankarapur.
On the occasion, Member of Parliament Dipak Prasad Kuinkel said the development of Shankarapur was dependent on the development of the media sector. He also lauded the role of Labanya Sandesh weekly in helping the development of Shankarapur.
Mayor of Shankarapur municipality Subarna Shrestha said developing the municipality into a beautiful municipality was his first priority.
